The incumbent provides a variety of program and office support to the Regulatory and Compliance Director, Senior Vice President of Housing, supervisory staff, and employees in the Housing department.

Under the supervision of Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician I performs general janitorial to maintain assigned KCDC buildings and grounds. This position is responsible for keeping common areas clean and clear of debris to reduce risk to residents, visitors, and staff.
All activities must support Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation’s (“KCDC” or “Authority”) mission, strategic goals, and objectives.

Under general supervision, the Occupancy Specialist performs specialized technical and clerical work supporting various types of Section 8 housing programs. The Occupancy Specialist examines eligibility of KCDC clients and prospective clients for rental assistance, processes monthly housing assistance payments to landlords, and processes utility allowance payments to the utility company.

Under the supervision of the CFO, the Yardi Support Analyst is responsible for providing functional and technical support to the Housing and Finance departments regarding Resident Ledgers, Gross Potential, Subsidy payments, charges, receipts, and other financial implications regarding tenants and revenue to effect real time problem analysis and resolutions. This includes acting as the primary interface to Housing and Finance team members via phone and email. A secondary role includes providing on-line and phone training for Yardi and related systems. This position also monitors transactions and processes to ensure compliance with KCDC and HUD regulations. The incumbent prepares and submits required reporting in compliance with relevant regulations.
